I had a clavicule fully broken and severely displaced after a skateboarding accident. Dr Lorich and his team have been very reactive, very welcoming and the result of the surgery is amazing : after a quick reeducation (3 months), I have been able to play tennis again, to swim, and to surf with no issue. Last week Dr Lorich made the second surgery to remove the hardware and it went efficiently and without pain. The team at Presbyterian has also been excellent. They have worked directly with my insurance company and I never even had to give my credit card. I really recommend Dr Lorich and his team if you happen to have a fracture that needs surgery.

Dean's surgical coordinator Seline charged me an $8,500 "security deposit" for a service he performed, in case my health insurance company didn't pay them. I filed an appeal, and my insurance paid the surgeon in full. It has now been over 2 months since I have been trying to get my money back, and they have been dodging and lying to me the entire time, with promises of a refund but no refund. It looks like Dean did a good job with the surgery so far, but his billing practices are nothing short of criminal. Apparently they think it's ok to get paid twice for the same service. By the way this is heading, it will end in litigation. Do NOT pay these crooks up front.
