I delayed writing this long enough. I do not like leaving negative reviews especially since I am a business owner and I know the importance of reviews and stars, but this is too big of a decision to not share the truth. I do Not recommend Dr Abramson. He is very friendly and his staff are nice. The office was nice. Planning and all that was fine. The price was acceptable which is why I went with him and the fact that he was the chief of plastics in Englewood… I had 2 (technically 3 because he had to redo me) surgeries with Dr Abramson. I really should have stopped at the 1st one. (Well I really should never have gone to him at all, really… but here we are) The most obvious demonstration of a surgeons skill are the stitches. The scar that is left by his hands demonstrates the care, attention and time that a surgeon dedicates to his patients and the pride that he takes in his work. Dr Abramson is a butcher. I sew my thanksgiving turkey better than he sewed me. To the point that today I went to my dermatologist to do v-beam to lighten the scars and my dermatologist told me that I need to be re-sewn because the scars are so bad that the laser won’t help them. I need to be cut open anew and resewn because of how bad Dr Abramson’s work is. Additionally, he is not a one-and-done surgeon. He ALWAYS has to fix his work. This is another example of how little pride and skill he has. There isn’t a single thing that he did on me that he didn’t have to fix—and a couple of things… multiple times. And I am not exaggerating. He had to fix one thing like 4x and it’s still not done well. Again, I really do not like to leave negative reviews but I would go to another surgeon if I were you.
