I had a really positive experience with Dr. Wu. I went to him for a second opinion and left feeling much more informed and confident in my care. He explained that a previous dentist had recommended filling a very minor cavity that I couldn’t feel (and still don’t) and that in dentistry, it’s not always best to jump straight into treatment. He emphasized that since we only get one set of adult teeth, it’s important to be conservative and avoid unnecessary drilling when there are no symptoms. That perspective made a lot of sense to me and felt much more thoughtful and patient-focused. He was also very attentive and took the time to listen and answer my questions. I never felt rushed, which is rare, and he clearly explained what habits I should change and what I should start doing to improve my dental health. My only issues were on the administrative side. I had trouble getting into the building because the front desk was less than helpful on the phone, and I ended up getting in only because someone else was leaving. Additionally, I was told they would follow up with my insurance regarding coverage for a mouth guard, but I never heard back. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wu for his care and professionalism; just be prepared for some possible administrative hiccups. For me, it was still worth it.
