Dr Nawabi is first and most importantly a great surgeon. I was a more complex hip arthroscopy and fully trusted him from the moment I met him. His calm demeanor and friendly bedside manner put me at ease. I am a very active person and felt a difference in my hip pain as soon as I was off crutches and increasing my activity level through walking and eventually my normal weighted workouts. This past week I was 7 months post-op and got back on a horse for the first time in years,. The best part was it was pain free. I am hopeful to return to soccer this fall and feel confident that my hip will be strong and stable enough to withhold that level of impact and activity. This is all thanks to Dr Nawabi and his amazing staff at HSS. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I’m a very active 61 year old male and tore my hip labrum training to climb Kilimanjaro. 2 Local orthopedics treated me but did not recommend surgery due to my age. They both said to just lay off it.
