Crown Rehab, Pt, Ot, Slp, Llp

I have had muscle pain for a very long time which no Doctor was able to figure out. Khushbu knew within 10 minutes of my evaluation exactly what the issue was and within a week of seeing her at Crown Rehab I was practically pain free. Khushbu and Masha are an amazing team. They are both caring, knowledgeable, and unbelievably thoughtful in their care. Even though my insurance does not cover Physical therapy at Crown, I would much rather go there than any other PT in the 5 boroughs.

I want to preface this review by saying I think all the people i've met at Crown Rehab try to o a good job. The problem with this practice is that they are woefully understaffed. For the several weeks I went there , on every occasion there was one Physical therapist , one attendant and as many as 5-6 patients . There was always the sense of urgency of jumping from one patient to another. Furthermore the assistant had to constantly interrupt the PT for instructions and clarifications on all the other patients. They're doing their best but they're in fact short changing the patients . In my case I was recovering from a hip replacement and was having difficulty with tendonitis.. I think this facility is fine for simple sprains and common ailments, but for more serious injuries I would highly recommend you go somewhere where they can give you the kind of attention necessary to focus on your injury. The facility I switched to does that .They have several PTs and assistants but deal with the same amount of patients as Crown rehab.I actually feel that the PT has the time and patience to work with me to get the best results out of the therapy. I don't feel they're rushing to the next patient. I also feel that all the assistants are properly trained. One occasion I was told by one of the assistants that she absolutely no training in Physical therapy. Hence the need to constantly ask the PT what to do. The other problem is obvious. The owner only responds to good reviews,so it's not likely there will be any changes here in the near future. Again, nice people, just very understaffed.
