I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cortes for many years, as have several of my family. He is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor, and more importantly he is a kind and helpful human being. I’m not the best patient (I don’t always follow his advice), but I always walk away from an appointment feeling very satisfied with the attention, respect, medical care, and information he’s given me. Be advised: His office is not an “in and out” environment. If your priority is to be seen immediately at your appointment time, he may not be the right doctor for you. What he does is less “bedside manner” and more relationship-building, and that takes time. I’ll happily be patient because I trust him more with my health than any doctor I’ve ever had, but I understand that that is not the case for everyone.
