I visited this office for a routine prophylaxis (cleaning), but later discovered that my insurance was billed for cavity fillings that were never performed. I do not have any cavities, and no such treatment took place during my visit. As someone who works in a dental office, I routinely review my insurance billing history, which is how I identified this discrepancy. This experience raises serious concerns about the office’s billing practices and commitment to ethical patient care. Unfortunately, it gave me the impression that financial gain may be prioritized over transparency and customer service.
