I cannot begin to say how thankful I am that I was referred to Dr. Yushuva. For the past 8 years I had been sick and suffering and no other doctor took my medical issue seriously. It took going to a gastroenterologist and getting a colonoscopy done and that doctor recommended Dr. Yushuva. First of all, when I called, during the last terrible snowstorm we had, it was Dr. Yushuva who answered and he patiently listened to me as I explained my situation and gave me an appointment for the following week. When I arrived at his office I got to meet Rose, his wonderful receptionist who is so kind and supportive that I immediately felt at ease. I didn’t have to wait more than a few minutes before I got to meet Dr Yushuva. Upon examination he confirmed that indeed my situation was very critical and I needed surgery. I’d gone to another surgeon years ago and he dismissed my concerns and sent me on my way. So for 8 years I continued to suffer and be sick and in pain. Not Dr. Yushuva, he actually took me seriously and not only exhibited care and compassion, he also explained why the things I’d been doing to try to alleviate my pain and illness were actually harmful to me. He was so patient and helpful. Ready to answer any questions I had and explain what to expect after the surgery. After my surgery, I felt completely supported by him. Every time I called, the office, it was the wonderful Rose who answered, instead of a machine. I cannot begin yo say how refreshing it is to call a doctors office and not only get the phone answered by a compassionate person but to also be able to not have to wait to speak to the doctor. Dr. Yushuva genuinely cares about his patients and you can tell. From his kind demeanor and how he takes the time to not only listen to their concerns, he gives you articulate aand thoughtful answers. I am so grateful to have been able to be cared for and supported by him and Rose during my aftercare and recovery. I give them my highest praise and recommendation. You will immediately be put at ease the minute you walk in and if you need a procedure you are in great hands. From start to finish you have so much support and kindness from him and Rose. I’d say you leave feeling like a member of the family in the best way possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Yushuva and Rose. You both have my lifelong respect and admiration. This is how EVERY doctors office should be.
