The clinic was bright and clean and I was welcomed and given good care. I was delighted and will return there; I am also recommending it broadly to friends and neighbors. This is what health care should look and feel like.

Provider and scribe were kind, empathetic, and professional, but I didn’t receive proper care. I was told there were no X-ray technicians available, which affected their ability to confidently assess and treat my injury. Instead, my finger was simply wrapped and I was sent to the ER. At this point, going to different CityMD locations feels like playing Russian roulette… you never know what level of care or resources you’re going to get. An urgent care center should be prepared to assess and stabilize injuries. Without the proper staff or equipment, it defeats the purpose of going to urgent care. The front desk experience made things worse. I had difficulty hearing the lady in braids, and instead of being accommodating, the staff member was rude and dismissive. There needs to be better accessibility practices in place. Again… while some staff were kind, the lack of preparedness and poor accessibility made this visit disappointing and unhelpful.
