I took my 5 year old son there for his allergies. The front desk was once welcoming and kind with smiles however now the ladies are very dry and rude. My so. was treated by the PA Antionette Martinez who is absolutely unprofessional. She is cold and has no bedside manner whatsoever. My son who is autistic got his ears checked by her which led him to cry and scream. As she finished up and proceeded to tell me about the allergy medication she would be sending to the pharmacy she put her hands over her ears and told me he was so loud and she could barely hear herself talking. I was in disbelief with her actions. She was supposed to be the professional yet there she was acting like a child with hands covered over her ears. I told her it was fine to continue explaining because I could hear her. She seemed extremely bothered with my son. I myself have been working in the healthcare field for 13 years and never would I or the doctors I work with ever treat a family the way she treated me and my son. Her attitude is absolutely disgusting. She needs a professionalism refresher class ASAP. When working in the healthcare field you must be mindful that you will treat all types of people. And ALL should feel heard and respected. My review on her most definitely does not stop here. I will contact all departments and boards until they know exactly how PA Antionette Martinez is treating patient. I will NEVER return there again. I only went there out of convenience but that will not happen again.
