1-Star Review – CityMD Parkchester (Bronx) I had a very disappointing experience at CityMD Parkchester Urgent Care. I walked in with a fever and clear symptoms of being sick, possibly the flu or a virus. Instead of receiving care, I was told I had to pay $25 upfront before they would even consider seeing me. Let me be clear: I was standing there visibly ill, and they refused to provide any type of medical attention unless I paid the $25 immediately. No compassion, no urgency, nothing. Just a flat refusal to help someone who was sick and seeking medical care. Urgent care facilities are supposed to exist for moments exactly like this—when someone is not feeling well and needs help quickly. Turning someone away with a fever over $25 is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of empathy and professionalism. Healthcare should not feel like a paywall before basic human care. This experience left a very bad impression of this location. If you are sick and expecting compassion or understanding, I strongly suggest reconsidering before going to this location. ⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing.

The doctor was nice, I think she was a PA. But I came there for an x-ray which they knew. Whilst I was in the waiting room the only X-ray tech left early and no one knew why she left. I completely wasted my time now I have to schedule somewhere else to get what I needed done.
