⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 — Exceptional Care from Start to Finish My name is Ana Padilla, and I am a patient from the Gun Hill CityMed office in the Bronx. I had shoulder surgery at City Med Surgical Center in Jamaica, Queens on April 23, 2026, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff — front desk, medical assistants, nurses, doctors, and anesthesiologist — was professional, warm, and attentive. The facility itself was spotless, which immediately put me at ease. My anesthesiologist stood out in particular. He was informative, kind, and patient with all of my questions. He made sure I felt heard and comfortable going into the procedure. My surgeon, Dr. Jesu Jacob, was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to fully explain the procedure, walked me through what to expect before and after surgery, and personally came to speak with me both before and after the operation. That level of personal attention made all the difference. I felt genuinely cared for — not just like another patient moving through a system. I give City Med Surgical Center a 10 out of 10. The staff goes above and beyond, the environment is clean and calm, and the professionalism across the board is exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend this center and Dr. Jesu Jacob to anyone in need of surgical care. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience feel completely safe and supported.

My mother recently had knee surgery at this clinic, and while the surgical care itself may have been fine, the post-operative transportation process was extremely disappointing. The clinic is supposed to coordinate transportation, yet due to an error on their end, she was unnecessarily brought back to the facility and transferred into another vehicle while in significant pain. This caused her avoidable discomfort and stress at a time when patient care and comfort should be the top priority. There was no clear explanation for why this happened. Post-surgical patients should not be subjected to unnecessary movement or logistical confusion. I hope the clinic reviews its transportation procedures to prevent this from happening to others.
