If I could give Dr. Glenn Ngan more than five stars, I would. What sets Dr. Ngan apart is not only his technical skill, but also his exceptional communication, compassion, attention to patient comfort, and follow-up care. Before the procedure, Dr. Ngan spent over an hour reviewing my CBCT scan with me. He carefully explained every treatment option, including the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. He listened to my concerns, answered every question patiently, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. As a patient, I felt respected, informed, and fully involved in the decision-making process. I have an extremely low tolerance for pain and was very anxious about having a dental implant. Dr. Ngan immediately recognized my concerns and approached the procedure with remarkable patience and compassion. He first applied a numbing gel and waited for it to take effect before administering local anesthesia. He gradually increased the anesthetic while continuously checking on my comfort level. Throughout the procedure, he explained every step before he performed it, which greatly reduced my anxiety. His bedside manner is truly outstanding. Using CBCT-guided planning and a minimally invasive flapless technique, Dr. Ngan was able to place my upper molar implant while avoiding a sinus lift, which had initially been discussed as a possibility. After the implant was placed, he obtained another CBCT scan to verify the final position and ensure everything was exactly as planned. What impressed me even more was his dedication after the procedure. He provided detailed postoperative instructions and personally followed up the very next day to check whether I had experienced any swelling, bleeding, or pain. That level of care and professionalism is increasingly rare. Most remarkably, despite my very low pain threshold, I experienced absolutely no pain after the procedure. I did not need to take a single pain pill. There was no significant bleeding, swelling, or discomfort. The entire experience was far easier than I could have imagined. Dr. Ngan combines exceptional clinical expertise with genuine kindness and compassion. His communication is thorough, his pain management is excellent, and his follow-up care is outstanding.
