On Sunday, August 17, a few of us had scheduled appointments at 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm. I arrived at 7:30, and others arrived around 8:00. When we got there, notes were posted on the doors stating that they would be opened at 8:00 pm and a technician would assist us. However, 8:00 came, then 8:30, and the doors remained locked. No one was answering the phones despite our repeated calls and messages. Myself and an elderly woman waited until 10:00 pm with no response to our calls or texts. I finally left at 10:00 pm and called the next morning, only to be given excuses and misleading information about why the technician never showed. Instead of taking responsibility, management shifted the blame onto the technician, showing little regard for our time or safety. Overall, this was an extremely unprofessional and careless experience. I would not recommend this sleep study center to anyone.

This review is from September 11 2023: I had my first appointment on September 11 2023, first impressions the place is located in a nice neighbor, lobby is quiet and spacious, once I signed in took 5 minutes for the nurse to call me and check my vitals (weight, oxygen, and what none other sleep specialist has ever done before... she took measures of my neck). then she asked me couple of questions and then told me to sit and wait in the room I took the pictures. after maybe 10 minutes the doctor called me to his office. Once inside he introduced himself, gave me a business card and told me to have a seat. Asked me how could he help me. I told him about the problems I had with NY Metro Sleep and then with New York Sleep Disorder Center. He asked me who had referred me and I told him I found him in google reviews. He told me how the process would work, that I had options to also do video visits if it was hard for me to go to the office. That since I had a sleep study done recently I did not have to do one now, he submitted a refill for my supplies and game me a copy in case I need it. Also told me that If I could provide the serial number to my machine I would not have to bring my Machine SD card, to any other visits since they would be able to download the machine sleep stats remotely. He ask about my medical history (medications I am taking and any condition I suffer from) and thru the whole interview he made me feel like he really was paying attention, unlike everyone else I have seen in the other 2 places I went before. I do not know if it will be like this always, but just by the first interaction that I had with the staff and the doctor I am more than impressed with their service. On a side note the receptionist and the nurse both speak perfect Spanish. Something that is very important on our community. (Metro sleep has some bilingual receptionist, but New York Sleep Disorder Center did not, and the person on their reception had a bad attitude to begin with) I give Better Sleep 5 starts for their service so far
