I have been a patient at this location for five to six years now, and my experience here is specific to this building -- newer, clean, and well-maintained compared to where the department used to operate. The reason I keep coming back is simple: my cardiologist, Dr. Bilal Malik, is outstanding. Genuinely one of the best physicians I have encountered -- attentive, knowledgeable, and the kind of doctor who makes you feel like your care actually matters. If the review were based on him alone it would be five stars without hesitation, probably more. The broader experience is solid but not perfect, which is why this sits at four stars. The department staff are generally friendly and the facility runs with the organization you would expect from a major cardiac program. Parking is actually a highlight -- if you have an appointment, get your ticket stamped at the receptionist desk and the parking stress disappears entirely. Wait times run anywhere from fifteen to thirty minutes on most visits, and occasionally creep toward forty-five minutes or an hour, though that has been rare in my experience. Prescription renewals are handled reasonably well, typically coming back within three to four days. The one honest note is that a big institution like this will occasionally have a staff member who comes across as dismissive or abrupt -- it has happened here. It does not define the place but it is worth mentioning. Overall a trustworthy, capable cardiac care department with a legitimately exceptional cardiologist at the center of it.
