Brooklyn Center For Families In Crisis

I have no idea why this place has so many bad reviews over the years. But I can only speak from my experience as a parent.For the past few months, My son has entered his teen phase and desperately needed therapy. I was looking at many places before I felt comfortable here, I decided to call and make an appointment. The intake is not a long process as other places where sometimes you have to be placed in a wait-list for us it was pretty fast. I was fortunate to be placed with a wonderful therapist for my son, she's patient and very helpful,and he absolutely loves his sessions and has made progress while under her care. So I would definitely say give it a try and have your own experience.....

The therapist wasn’t helpful for my son, didn’t follow through. Sometimes wouldn’t send the link for virtual meetings. Would punish my son for something I told him is a huge part of the problems with my son. Overall was absolutely no help. Even if it was the therapist fault for being late (no link sent) he would still abruptly end the call at the exact schedule time not a minute later no matter where my son was mentally. They are in a great location and it would be wonderful if they could revamp how they practiced and work with the clients.
