Unlike some of the other reviews I've read where people said they had to wait a long time, my visit was pretty quick even though the place was very crowded. I had a Saturday morning appointment and I walked in and I was shocked at how many people were sitting and waiting. But too my surprise I didn't have to wait that long at all. I was very satisfied with the thorough eye exam. The only thing I wished could have been better where the selections of eyeglass frames. I did not see many frames that I liked, although I did choose one. I am going to inquire about getting another pair of glasses with a different frame when I go to my next appointment.

Good place to get a routine eye exam but not a great place for contacts. I paid for contact exam out of pocket and left with the same eye prescription from 4 years ago. I tried on the sample contacts provided because I told the doctor my current contacts were bothering me and the contacts provided did not improve my vision. I feel like I wasted my money here and will try a different location moving forward.

The team at Bronx Eye Associates is awesome! Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and professional. They made the whole visit easy and comfortable from start to finish. You can tell they really care about their patients and take pride in what they do. Definitely recommend them if you need great eye care in the Bronx!

I love coming to this office, everyone is friendly welcoming and i’m always attended quickly. The doctors are knowledgeable and answer all questions I may have. Amanda at the glasses counter is helpful and always helps me understand and pick my glasses. Thank you!

Imagine having to show up twice with an appointment and still being denied access to see the doctor. According to the receptionists, who maintain a constant attitude of “strong personality,” it feels more like you have arrived at immigration because of the ongoing hostility, their manners, and the way they attend to you and demand your documents. According to these receptionists, they can see me in the system, but I need to bring my insurance letter stating that it is me, even though I gave them my SSN and my ID. How is it possible to see me in the system but still require the insurance card to verify that I am the person? In the end, this is about making life miserable for a human being and making them come twice, waiting every Friday because it is the only day I can leave my job and come here. This is not a question of ethics or morality; it is a question of having zero empathy. So much desire to drain a person’s day, especially in this cold weather. You are a disgrace, this place — a lack of humanity and a lot of arrogance, wanting to show others how important your failed ego is.
