I had visited with Dr. Marissa Pedro at the location above on October 24th, 2025. The doctor sent a prescription to a pharmacy, however they did not have the medication on stock. I then communicated to the practice that I would like to change the pharmacy two days later, and this is where the problems started. In each of the five following business days which consisted no fewer than 12 phone calls with the supporting staff, no change took place. This is despite the fact that the practice promises responses to patient messages between 24 and 72 hours. Dr. Pedro was clearly not reading my messages. After 72 hours had transpired, the supporting staff escalated this request by sending her additional 'escalated priority messages', promising a resolution within the next 24 hours. However this too came and went. I even scheduled another appointment (that I will be charged $75 for as a no-show) just so I could write in the notes field of the appointment: "please have the doctor read the messages from myself and the 'Care Team'". It was only on Friday, 24 hours later and more than 100 hours after the original request was sent, and only after messaging other doctors and calling all manner of support hotlines, that she was able to fulfill the request. During the phone call, she made no acknowledgment of her extreme tardiness in getting back to me and she was incredibly dismissive of the situation, saying "I cannot keep changing where the prescription is sent all the time." This amounts to a willful neglect of patient needs, not to mention a catastrophic patient experience. Had I been a patient with more significant medication needs, this would have represented a potentially life-threatening situation and tantamount to medical malpractice. Edit (12/1/2025): Absolutely nothing has happened in the three weeks since filling out the form link provided in the message below.
