I have been a patient of Dr. Jagat for quite some time and visit the office regularly. Despite my concerns about the front desk staff, I continued coming here because the office is within walking distance of my home and Dr. Jagat himself is kind, professional, and provides good care. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled, and a staff member ( lady with shorter height) called me to inform me that the doctor would not be available the next day. Instead of offering assistance, she said, “Which day do you want to reschedule now?” Since I had already been waiting for this appointment and needed to see the doctor as soon as possible, I asked for the earliest available opening, which was the day after. She immediately told me no and said the schedule was full for an entire week. What upset me even more was her attitude and the way she spoke to me. She accused me of not answering her calls and claimed she had called several times. In reality, I received only one call, and I returned it within three minutes because I was in class when she called. Rather than helping me find a solution, she was argumentative and dismissive. The doctor is excellent, but the front desk experience continues to be frustrating. Professionalism, courtesy, and respectful communication are important, especially in a medical office where patients may already be dealing with health concerns.
