If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Trust the other reviews for the general building and do not go here. I got an appointment to get the Yellow Fever vaccine at Mount Sinai since they bill through insurance. I spoke to my insurance company multiple times, they spoke to Mount Sinai’s billing department, and I spoke to Dr. Gomez’s nurse to get the three billing codes under which my service would be charged. The billing department and the nurse conveniently didn’t disclose that the service would be billed under the same billing code through Mount Sinai AND the provider. Billed twice for the same, new patient office visit: they’re trying to charge me double for the same exact service. I have submitted an appeal through my insurance since this information was never disclosed to me, but would not recommend anyone go here. Their double billing practice is very deceptive and clearly intended to squeeze money out of patients. Update as of 7/29: I emailed Patient Relations myself, and the billing department through my Mount Sinai portal, and received a response from neither. Update as of 8/26: Mount Sinai commented on this review to say they’d be reaching out and no one reached out to me. I will be filing an appeal through my insurance, and reporting them to the NYS Department of Health, and Attorney General’s office.
