Nick Cirillo
I would like to express my profound gratitude to each of my family members and friends for their kind thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes during my rehabilitation at St. Monica Manor following a fall on March 6th, 2026. The MRI results revealed fractures in my left hip and left humerus bone in the shoulder. I am pleased to report that I have received encouraging news from Dr. Nazarian at Rothman Institute, indicating that my hip has healed. I am thankful for this development and will be undergoing outpatient therapy for my shoulder from home. Throughout my experience in rehab, I have come to appreciate the dedication and care of the staff, who often go above and beyond their duties. This experience has taught me the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and expressing gratitude towards those who assist us. As I continue on my road to recovery, I am determined to focus on my rehabilitation, grow stronger, and enjoy life to the fullest now that I am 66 years old. Once again, I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I would also like to extend special thanks to Craig Milliken for his consistent support, discussions, and assistance with appointments and daily needs, and Pat Renzi, Albert DiSalvatore, and Loretta MarieBasualdo for visiting me frequently and sharing fond memories. I also appreciate the exceptional care provided by my nurse Tiffany, who has been very kind since day one, activities director Tomecca McDowall, unit nurse Diamond Miller, director of rehab Ben Smith, and my therapist Crystal Melody & Alicia who have all contributed to lifting my spirits and demonstrating resilience and perseverance. Shout out to Father Edward Kuczynski for daily Mass and the body of Christ. To my wife, Donna, your strength and dedication to our family have not gone unnoticed, and I look forward to spending quality time with you soon. To my son, Nick Anthony Cirillo, daughter, Nicole Burkhardt, son-in-law, Kyle Burkhardt, and granddaughter, Sonnie Girl, thank you for your love, joy, and support throughout my recovery.
