I’ve been coming here for 6 years (it’s changed names a few times) and while it’s quick and friendly service, the follow up care needs improvement. On Friday, I took three lab tests, one swab is pending. The company they use to manage the labs sent me a Notification with a link that one part was ready, but the link just keeps spinning. Then I call the customer service line(in India) they inform me that I need to register, I register on the site then it says, it needs 24hrs to “validate my demographics” what kind of nonsense?! Mind you to create the account it asked to validate my email by sending a code. So what are we doing here?! Why couldn’t this be done to validate the demographics?? A complete time waster. And of course the outsourced customer service will not give you results but offered to send it to the office. Which is closed because it’s Sunday. This Is interesting because if I’m not mistaken, when I was in the office an employee said they don’t get the results and she said to look out for a link to the labs. They only write you a note for up to two days, so that’s equally frustrating because if you gave flu, Covid or resp infections we all know it takes you out for far longer than two days.so then you have to go to your primary or back to them (another$40 + copay). Which it was not always like this at this location. Additionally, they do some thing where after you sign in they send you a link to check in. This link NEVER works for me and while you’re waiting other people who are checked in are going in before you. This was the first time where the front desk person offered to notate it in my account for the future. Which I appreciated. Pro tip:: The start time is not really the start time. You can get there when they first open (with an appointment) but it’s like they need 45 min-1hour for warm up time to get things going. I literally walked home to use the bathroom. came back and still had to wait some time to be seen. I’m Considering trying another urgi center in the future, this is too frustrating. 5 stars for the provider Nate, the girl at the front desk and the medical assistant. Policies in place need to be reconsidered and better outsourcing for labs.
