I will never be able to fully put into words what this therapy office has meant to my family. After a traumatic incident involving my 3-year-old son, they didn’t hesitate to step in and fight for him. They helped him navigate huge emotions that no child should have to experience, and they supported me every step of the way as his mom. AJ absolutely loves his therapist, Michaela. He lights up when it’s time for therapy and always looks forward to seeing her. Watching the bond they’ve built and the emotional growth in my son has been incredibly healing for both of us. The owner, Noel, has been in my corner from the very start… compassionate, honest, and communicative in ways that made me feel seen, supported, and never alone. That kind of care is rare. Because of this team, I see a real change in my son. I can’t rave enough about the entire office. They don’t just do therapy.. they advocate, protect, and truly care. If you’re considering this practice, know that your child — and you — will be in the best hands.

So a couple of months ago I had a disappointing experience with this practice related to continuity of care and flexibility during a particularly vulnerable time. My original therapist left the practice due to relocation, and I was not informed in advance or proactively rescheduled. I agreed to continue care with a new therapist and attended weekly in-person sessions for approximately 2–3 months, despite ongoing travel and scheduling challenges. During my final in-person session I disclosed a SA - which required a significant level of trust and vulnerability. The following week due to a same-day travel and scheduling conflict I communicated that attending in person would add considerable stress and asked to switch the session to virtual. The only accommodation offered was moving the appointment by 1–2 hours. When I asked to proceed virtually instead, the session was cancelled, as I was told virtual sessions are only permitted for emergencies. As a result I was left without therapeutic support immediately following a highly sensitive disclosure. I was surprised that this situation was not considered urgent enough to allow flexibility in format especially given the context of trauma-related care. After deciding to leave the practice, I emailed to request my records and did not receive a response. Overall, I felt unsupported and unheard at a critical moment and would have appreciated clearer communication, responsiveness, and a more trauma-informed approach to care.
