The Doctor is great... The support staff not as much. After a physical was done on Friday , I was told to come back the next day, Saturday to have my labs drawn. I did, what a mistake. Each arm poked and no blood drawn. The techs hands were visibly shaking and then I was told I'd have to return (3rd visit) to have labs drawn efficiently because " she is not the expert in this". There should never be one phlebotomist on site if they are not skilled in their choice of profession. Since I have no choice, I now have to return a third time. Side note... As I sat in the back waiting area, I overheard this young lady have an issue to draw 3 pt's blood ahead of mine and she blamed it on them, not drinking water. She even asked one gentleman if he wanted to come back on another day. He refused and said he could not. Prior to coming for labs I expected to meet with the phlebotomist i was referred to. Instead, I was told that she left early and was left dealing with the " Rookie". Wrap up.....Friday Dr Appt, Saturday morning wasted, and now I have to take another morning off due to their unprofessionalism. Great Doctors... your second rate phlebotomist not so much. If patients are coming on a Saturday , it should be obvious that during the week we are not available. With all the changes to people's medical insurance, I'm unable to just pick up and choose a new provider due to network scarcity. Now I am left with no choice. As a consumer and as a patient , I am unsatisfied with the options presented to me.
