As Medical Pc

Dr. Sokol is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. He doesn't deserve the office manage and front end staff. The office manager is one super nasty person. She doesn't have a nice way of speaking to the patients. Everything is a fight with her. No one has to put up with that nonsense when they go to the doctor. They don't scan my medical cards yet they give them back to me. I get told that a copay is due but when I called up I was told nothing was due. I was told that it is my duty to look up on insurance my copay with a specialist. Every other doctor's office tells a new patient before hand what is expected on the first visit. This manager wants you to do her job and research what is due at that office. The nastiness is relentless in every word she speaks. Then an antibiotic is prescribed and sent to my drug store. the only problem is that it's a very new drug and NO ONE has it yet. Trying to get that office to understand that an older antibiotic needs to be sent the pharmacy is like pulling teeth. I was told no other drug will be prescribed. Come back to the office and pick up the samples. Finally after a few more phone calls and complaints the office sends another antibiotic. The question is who needs this kind of nonsense. Other doctor's offices are not this convoluted. SO after just 1 visit with this wonderful doctor, I have decided that life does not have to be this hard and you do not have to take this crap from any health care provider's staff! I left this practice with sadness because Dr. Sokol is really a very good doctor. If you can put up with the front office BS, then you've got a great doctor! I'm done!

I’ve had great results from this office in the past. They have treated my chronic prostatitis before with amazing results. I haven’t been to the office for four years. Unfortunately, I have had a terrible flare up this week and needed treatment once again. Upon my return to the office, I had to fill out new patient onboarding forms, with a lot of pages. Even though I am an existing patient. Even worse, these new forms include a lot of gay affirming nonsense. Choosing your sex at birth and then choosing an identity gender is absolute garbage. I wish that was the worst part though. They did not bother to even have the doctor look at me. Instead, I was examined by a NP or something. After the fact, we discussed treatment and medication options. All good, and I leave, but not before getting charged a massive copay. This is probably on the insurance and I won’t blame the office on this one. The problem came when I arrive at the pharmacy, and the medicine that was sent was not what we discussed. The medicine that has had excellent results for me in the past, and that we agreed on, was not sent to me. What I was given instead is not nearly as effective, not to mention just not being what was agreed on. I have attempted to call the office several times, to which they just let it ring. It’s already the next day and I have never even had a chance to discuss this, because no callback was made. I am so, so very disappointed in the quality of service in this office, and would never recommend. It’s just sad because four years ago, this place was a lot different, and it was deserving of five stars.
