Children with autism and intense sensory needs, often become young adults with autism and intense sensory needs. However, there are virtually no therapeutic centers to support the adult size student who still requires sensory gym equipment to self regulate and make progress. AQTA changed this for my son. At 5 feet, 10 inches and 168 lbs, Sam is able to use all the equipment in the gym for the vestibular and proprioceptive input he needs to function.
