Dr. Lubitz was the first doctor who found a sustainable and effective treatment for my autoimmune condition. When I first began seeing him 2 years ago, I had been in and out of the hospital due to anaphylactic attacks, pneumonia and frequent swelling. I had been on allergy shots for years and had tried the gambit of allergy treatments. On our first visit, he listened intently, spent time looking at all my different symptoms (even those I might have considered unrelated), and worked tirelessly to get me on a treatment that had just been approved for my indication three months earlier. He may come off as a bit eccentric due to the thoroughness and passion behind his question asking, but it is extremely effective and endearing once you get to know him better. I have been on the medication he suggested for over a year now and have had not 1 single episode of anaphylaxis. My life has forever changed because I’m no longer afraid to go hiking, swimming, biking or boating. I finally feel confident that I won’t suddenly swell up and asphyxiate for what feels like no reason. On top of it all, his office and nursing staff are extremely professional and friendly. I cannot recommend Dr. Lubitz enough!
