I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredible our experience has been with Astoria Speech. When we first began exploring speech therapy for my son, who has a speech delay, we were unsure of what to expect. From the very beginning, Leah, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure my son was matched with the right speech-language pathologist — and she absolutely nailed it. We’ve been working with Lauren Maddoff, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She brings so much warmth, energy, and fun to every session that my son genuinely looks forward to speech — he sees it as just another one of his favorite activities, right up there with taekwondo, soccer, and swimming! What sets Lauren apart is not just her skill and knowledge, but her deep care and commitment. She’s taken time out of her own schedule to join Zoom meetings with my son’s teachers, helping to create a cohesive plan that supports him in and out of the therapy room. The progress we’ve seen has been both significant and fast — and I believe a big part of that is due to how connected and supported he feels. We are so grateful to Lauren for the work she’s done with our son, and to Leah for making this perfect match and always being so kind and accommodating.
