Couldn’t be happier with Mindful Urgent Care. I love the convenience and time savings of the Tele-health paradigm. When I was out of medication and couldn’t reach anyone at my old Psychiatrist’s office for several days at the beginning of the pandemic, I found Mindful Urgent Care through a Google search and got an appointment the next day. Everyone I have dealt with has been very competent, kind and compassionate. They also run a very organized operation built for the digital age using online scheduling tools, text messaging and e-mail as well as a virtual meeting platform, all which I very much like. My e-mails have always been responded to quickly and the administrative staff is friendly and helpful. And for the first time in 20 years I have my psychiatry services covered by my insurance. I highly recommend Mindful Urgent Care without hesitation and am very thankful I found them.

James Harrington is amazing! I’ve seen many different psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, and I’ve never met any who are as sympathetic and understanding as he is. He truly takes interest in his patients and takes a deep dive into all aspects of your medical history. He also provides specific guidance on certain medications you might have in mind, and ultimately, he is dedicated to choosing the treatment that is the healthiest solution for the patient. If I wasn’t moving out of the country, I would definitely be staying with Mindful Urgent Care. They truly care about the well-being of their patients, not just prescribing medication based on little information.
