Dr Harnik Five Star Plus. Anesthesiologist excellent. The rest ZERO STARS Front desk abrasive and rude. Inside staff very abrasive and rude. Treat the client like a liar and criminal. No professionalism or kindness. Down right mean nasty. Billing: procedures were inconsistent with codes. A scam to achieve more money from insurance company and their so called co-pay. I am 100% covered with a Multi plan. They billed me. I or anyone is not to be harassed...five surprise texts in one day! It is not my job to be in the middle of the billing issue between an incompetent office and my insurance and plan offices. The insurance showed their errors and the "co-pay" the plan would cover IF the company processed claims properly Yet, they way to open the co pay...to attempt to extract more money from me, directly I called the insurance company. Gracious professional detailed. They combed the entire Pre authorization billing etc. let me know in detail what was paid out and all the things Advance Endoscopy Center or AEC did incorrectly. Even that they were paid out additional funds. I called AEC. Billing not in state. Set up all over country. They were rude. Kept asking for information they had. As it was pre authorized and my insurance cards etc were photo copies at front desk, in Bronx. Person talked in circle. I called insurance. They called AEC with me on phone. AEC was rude to insurance but got caught in the scam. I did not and do not own hundreds of dollars. Nothing. It is not me job to do their work. There is a real nasty behavior from that company to toward the patient/client.Again excellent physicians and antithesioloist. The rest of the staff I encounter or heard horrible rude abrasive nasty mean UNPROFESSIONAL. The physicians might read these negative reviews..and see how association reflects on them. Plus, they seem to accept the nasty behavior of the staff. The Front Desk and Main Billing Office is absolutely the WORST!
