I had an overall positive experience with this acupuncture provider. Jonathan was thorough, took the time to explain everything in detail, and provided helpful recommendations for follow-up care. The treatment itself was great. However, the billing process was very confusing. Despite receiving an Explanation of Benefits from my insurance stating I owed nothing, I was later billed an out-of-pocket amount due to differences between what the provider charged and what insurance covered. The lack of transparency in how costs are handled makes it worth reconsidering for anyone relying on insurance coverage. If you’re paying out of pocket, this may not be an issue, but if you plan to use insurance, I’d recommend double-checking what you’ll actually owe before treatment.
