I'm currently getting physical therapy for my sprained shoulder (untreated by me for about a year) my arm was restricted in its range of motion and lacked full strength so it was a lot to do in order to get back to my old level (I have to add that I have a physical disability where my left side is pretty limited and I do 85 % of everything with my right hand). After waiting for my shoulder to heal for so long, but didn't, so I broke down and went. My first visit went well. The doc listened to my story during the eval and when started therapy he kept me fully informed of everything that he was doing and why, The session went well. All I can say is that right after that first maybe 2nd session I was starting to use my arm again but with some strength and some range of motion better! And some pain reduction too!! I Kidd you not!! I couldn't believe it was finally doing better!! I keep going back for 3 sessions a week and im getting better each session the pain is still holding on a bit and I'm needing more strength and some more range but I couldn't be happier with the progress that I'm doing and have the doc for that. The doc does not push to hard and is always looking for my input to see where to go so I'm very happy with that. I'll continue with my therapy visits for as long as it takes to get back to my old level and wouldn't consider going anywhere else!!
