Access Rehab, the Lakewood location in Waterbury is the one I have been going to. The staff is lovely-kind, helpful, supportive and they just make it such a nice atmosphere. The facility is great. For those doing PT- a large work out area, with lots of equipment and tools. It’s very clean and comfortable in the space. For me- I’m doing aquatic physical therapy. It’s got its own room. The pool room features two large bathrooms with standing showers, hooks for your belongings, informational sheets on the walls, and non slip mats on the floor. They have the showers so that you can rinse off prior to getting in the pool, and after. They ask that you bring your own towel, which is totally fine by me. They have benches to set your things on, and a plastic bag dispenser for your wet things if you need. The pool is not huge but it is decent enough. Each time I’ve gone there’s been 3-5 people in it plus me. They have water weights, pool noodles, exercise info sheets, and seating within the pool. An appt generally consists of getting ready, getting in, warming up, the pt, and free floating time with the noodles for however long your appt has left. It’s a good system, the therapists are great and super friendly. They really want to help you. They listen to you and don’t judge. It’s just a great place if you need PT, Aquatic PT, they also offer occupational therapy and speech therapy.
