I am impressed so far with my very first adjustment at Drs. Abrams Piazza & Julewicz (Staten Island) offices. They truly wanted me to feel at home and ask them any question. Then later in the day even got a follow up call to check on me and see how I was feeling! Simply amazing! Looking forward to my next appointment! Thank you Drs. I had pain in my hips, glutes, lower back, and shoulders on both sides, but was told treatment would be done one side at a time. I understood that, so my first visit focused on my right side and it was great. The provider took their time, did thorough muscle work with cream and tools, and I was even asked how strong I wanted the massage. The massage gun was used properly on my lower back and glute area, and I left feeling much better. I came back expecting the same level of care for my left side, but my second visit was completely different. I guess because it was the last session of the day my appointment was rushed. I asked for the same cream and rub on my upper left glutes I received on my right side the last session. The cream was just applied without proper muscle work and left on. I was told to wash it off with dawn soap when I got home. I also didn’t receive the same focused massage or attention to my lower back and glute area. Instead, I received quick adjustments before any real muscle work, and I left still in pain, with more tightness in my lower back. If the plan is to treat one side at a time, the quality of care should be consistent. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
