When Dr. Quamina first moved to Bushwick, he used to be a doctor who genuinely cared about his patients — at least that was my experience. I even recommended him to my family and friends. But over time, it seems he became like many other doctors in the Bushwick area — more focused on billing your insurance than actually caring about your health. Back in 2020, I started having some kidney issues. He told me not to worry and just to drink more water. In 2025, things got worse — I got dizzy and almost fainted in public because my kidneys weren’t filtering properly, and I became dehydrated. I went back to him for help, got some blood work done, and the results showed the problem was getting worse. But he didn’t seem to care; as always, he said, “It’s nothing, you’re just a few numbers off in your creatinine and other levels.” I decided to go to another doctor at Mount Sinai, and they finally found out what was really causing my issue. So, if you have private insurance, I recommend avoiding doctors in this neighborhood. Ohh and almost forgot his assistant is rude
